Easy, quick and delicious, chocolatey vegan chocolate nests.
Minimal ingredients and no baking needed 🙌
100g plant based rice crispy cereal
200g dark chocolate, chopped
30g plant-based white chocolate
50g golden syrup
¼ tsp salt
80g plant-based mini eggs
Add approx 120g of the chopped dark chocolate, golden syrup and salt to a heat-proof bowl. Set the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, and stir while the chocolate melts. Remove the bowl from the heat.
Use a spatula to gently fold the cereal into the melted chocolate, stirring until all of the cereal is coated.
Scoop the mixture into a lined baking tray, using the back of the spoon to evenly spread.
Heat the remainder of the dark chocolate until it melts and spread across the top of the crispy mixture that you just spread.
Separately heat and melt the white chocolate, then swirl it on top for a marble effect.
Now have fun adding your rainbow sprinkles and mini eggs!
Transfer the tray into the freezer to set for 10 minutes. Once the melted chocolate has solidified, remove from the tray and chop into square.
